The NRPB became part of the Health Protection Agency (HPA) in 2005 which then became part of Public Health England (PHE) in 2013.

PHE continues to conduct research on radiological protection and provide advice and information on the subject. NRPB copyright is now held by PHE.

NRPB published its work as part of its remit to conduct research on radiological protection, and to provide advice and information on the subject to government departments. The publications still in active use are available here.
