Small company review of taxation survey
OTS simplification review of small company taxation.
The Summer Budget 2015 announced that the OTS will be carrying out a simplification review of small company taxation.
The overall aim of the project is to develop recommendations for the Chancellor and Financial Secretary on how to simplify the system, increase certainty and reduce administrative burdens caused by the tax system. We would like to hear from you as small company owners about the difficulties you have with the current tax system and any suggestions you have to improve it.
We are currently meeting with business groups and small companies across the country to gather views. However, in order to maximise the breadth of opinions we have also created a short survey to collect more information. It is aimed at ‘micros’, companies with 10 or fewer members of staff.
The survey will take no longer than 15 minutes to complete and you can complete this anonymously or leave your contact details if you are willing to discuss any of your comments further. We will be gathering views via the survey until 1st January 2016.
