The Government has deposited a proposed set of changes to the High Speed Rail (London – West Midlands) Bill in Parliament. The changes reflect the Government’s discussions with landowners, occupiers and key stakeholders as well as refinements to the design and updated environmental information.
These changes relate to areas along the Phase One route from Kilburn, in London, to Curzon Street, in the West Midlands as well as off-route locations including Langley, Slough.
The Supplementary Environmental Statement and Additional Provision 2 (July 2015) is comprised of a number of documents which are listed and explained below.
An Additional Provision is deposited in Parliament during the Select Committee process and gives rise to a new petitioning period on the Additional Provision. It also gives rise to a consultation on the Supplementary Environmental Statement and Additional Provision Environmental Statement.
The petitioning period for Additional Provision 2 (July 2015) will begin on 17 July 2015 and will finish on 14 August 2015
The consultation on the Supplementary Environmental Statement and Additional Provision Environmental Statement will begin on 17 July 2015 and will finish on 28 August 2015.
