Information on the government's Investment Funds Programme.

Investment funds, sometimes referred to as gainshare or earn back, are long-term grants agreed by government with 13 UK localities as part of City Deal, Growth Deal and Devolution Deal programmes.

Areas with investment fund grants are subject to 5-year independent gateway reviews to assess the impact investment funds have made in the local area on economic growth.
