UKHO Tidal Prediction Service Sample Formats

This section details the various formats in which the Tidal Prediction Service can provide data. The PDF formats and ASCII/data files can be sent by e-mail as a file/attachment or can be made available on an FTP site.

How to Order

Once you have chosen the formats, ports and years you require, you need to contact the Tides Section to confirm we can meet your request and complete your order. Please telephone +44 (0)1823 723443, or e-mail tides@ukho.gov.uk for confirmation.

If you intend to reproduce the data in any way you will need to apply online for a copyright licence. Depending on the purpose of the reproduction there may be a licence fee. Once you have a copyright licence we will send you a PayPal invoice for the cost of the predictions. We will send you the predictions once we have had confirmation of payment.

Payment

Payment can be made by using the PayPal service (preferred method) and a link to this will be given in the PayPal generated e-mail accompanying the PayPal Invoice. You are not required to have a PayPal account in order to make payment as the service allows you to make a “one-time” payment by keying in your payment card details. Alternatively, if you wish to make your card payment over the phone directly to the UKHO Cash Office, then you can telephone +44 (0)1823 483902, or e-mail linzi.swan@ukho.gov.uk If you wish to make payment by bank transfer/BACS, then please contact the Cash Office for the UKHO’s bank account details.

If you are paying by electronic transfer you will be liable for all bank charges incurred. Please also include your PayPal number in your payment reference.

Any queries regarding payment should be directed to the Cashier either by phone on +44 (0)1823 483902 or by e-mail to linzi.swan@ukho.gov.uk
