The Veterans’ High Intensity Service (HIS) North of England Team
The HIS North of England Team provides care and treatment for former armed forces personnel (veterans) who are in a mental health crisis and need urgent help across the North of England.

About us
The north west England VAPC is a statutory grouping of volunteers drawn mainly from local government, national organisations, the third sector and community groups who have a shared interest in supporting the veterans community. With its wide knowledge of the community it can promote the interest of the ex-service community, act as forum to understand their needs, advocate on their behalf and provide government with an informed body with which to consult.
Areas we cover
The counties of Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire and the metropolitan counties of Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
