Consultation description
We are consulting on a revised Fire and Rescue National Framework for England.
The National Framework sets priorities and objectives for fire and rescue authorities in England in connection with the discharge of their functions. Fire and rescue authorities have a duty to have regard to the Framework.
The National Framework was last published in 2012 and changes are required to embed the fire reform programme and provisions in the Policing and Crime Act 2017.
