Response to Analogue Commerical Radio Licensing Consultation
Original consultation
Consultation description
Analogue commercial radio licences, which were renewed under the Digital Economy Act 2010, will begin to expire from late 2017. Ofcom does not have the power to renew these licences for a further period beyond the expiry date. This consultation asks for views on whether the Government should allow these licences to be renewed for a further period and, if so, what the length of this period should be.
