Consultation description

We want to know what you think of our draft statutory code of practice for the welfare of meat chickens and meat breeding chickens. The code of practice is for England only. The code provides up-to-date guidance on the current legislation, maintains animal welfare standards, and reflects the latest scientific and veterinary knowledge.

We would particularly like to hear from organisations and individuals involved in and concerned with the keeping of meat chickens and meat breeding chickens.
