Consultation description

We want to know what you think about a proposal to remove Allonby South from the list of bathing waters designated under the Bathing Water Regulations (S.I. 2013/1675) on the grounds of low usage for bathing.

We have published evidence of usage at the site for bathing and other beach activities. You can also read the criteria for designation and dedesignation of bathing waters.

This consultation is of interest to beach users, the leisure and tourist industries, environmental NGOs and anyone with an interest in the coastal environment.
