We want to know what you think about a proposal to remove Rock from the list of bathing waters designated under the Bathing Water Directive (2006/7/EC) for public safety reasons.

We have published evidence about the safety hazards at the beach and the outcome of a survey into beach usage. You can also read the criteria for designation and de-designation of bathing waters.

This consultation is of interest to beach users, the leisure and tourist industries, environmental NGOs and anyone with an interest in the coastal environment.
