Detail of outcome

The Secretary of State for Transport has approved Bristol Airport’s request to be designated as Level 3 coordinated and Airport Coordination Limited (ACL) as the slot coordinator for Bristol Airport.

Proposal for Bristol Airport to:

  • be designated a ‘coordinated’ airport on a year-round basis, a status reserved for congested airports
  • have Airport Coordination Limited as designated coordinator, should the original application be approved

This consultation was originally run between 24 August 2022 to 5 October 2022 but reopened due to revision of the capacity analysis report supplied by Bristol Airport.
