Consultation description

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is seeking feedback on proposals to revise the statutory charges paid by the aviation industry it regulates.

The plan for 2015 to 2016 is to reduce safety regulation charges by 1.3%. The CAA also want to remove the cross subsidy between the air operator certification (AOC) scheme and other schemes. This will equate to a reduction in charges of £1 million.
