Consultation description

Andrea Coscelli, CEO of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), gave a speech on competition in the digital age: reflecting on digital merger investigations to the OECD/G7 conference on 3 June 2019.

During his speech, Andrea launched a call for information on digital mergers, and we’re now seeking views from all interested parties (particularly where supported by relevant evidence and analysis).

The purpose of this call for information is to invite interested parties to provide views on aspects of the Merger Assessment Guidelines that should be supplemented or revised to provide up-to-date guidance on the CMA’s approach to the assessment of mergers in digital markets.
