Summary

We are seeking views on our proposals for the provision of early education and childcare following the Children and Families Act 2014.

This consultation ran from

Consultation description

We are consulting on changes to the provision of early education and childcare as a result of measures in the Children and Families Act 2014.

The measures in the Act were set out in:

• the report ‘More Great Childcare’ published by the Department for Education on 29 January 2013
• the report ‘More Affordable Childcare’ published on 16 July 2013
