Consultation description
This consultation seeks views on amending Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Fees and Frequency of Inspections) (Children’s Homes etc.) Regulations 2015 in relation to:
- a 20% increase on current fees payable by children’s social care providers (excluding supported accommodation), for those providers which are not already at full cost recovery
- an amendment to minimum inspection frequencies for children’s homes where there are no children accommodated in the home
It also seeks views on:
- amending the The Care Standards Act 2000 (Registration)(England) Regulations 2010 in relation to the disclosure of names and addresses for secure 16 to 19 academies and secure children’s homes (SCHs)
- future consultations in relation to fees payable to Ofsted by children’s social care providers
