Consultation description

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has opened a consultation on the new edition of its guidance for the management and treatment of Clostridioides difficile infection.

This guidance includes recommendations and algorithms for the antimicrobial treatment of C. difficile infection, as well as advice relating to diagnostic criteria, severity assessment, infection prevention and control (IPC) measures, and non-antimicrobial therapeutics such as faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT). 

We welcome comments from healthcare professionals on the draft guidance. The consultation will close at 5pm on Friday 14 October.
