Consultation description
This consultation document seeks your views on three separate simplification proposals relating to the Licensing Act 2003 (the Act).
The Government proposes to simplify the requirements for:
The revision of licensing statements (Proposal A);
interim authority notices (IAN) or applications for reinstatement on transfer (RT) following the death, incapacity or insolvency of the licence holder (Proposal B); and
the notification of temporary event notices (Proposal C).
The consultation also seeks your views on the draft Order, impact assessment and draft amendments to the Statutory Guidance under s.182 of the Act in relation to these changes.
