Consultation description
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport is seeking views about proposals to abolish the current public body known as the Registrar of Public Lending Right and to transfer to another body the statutory function of distributing the Public Lending Right fund to authors.
This consultation paper explains why the government considers this change is necessary and seeks opinions from stakeholders across the UK about the effects of such a change as well as their views on the options outlined.
