Consultation description

The code of practice on design standards for accessible railway station provides standards for anyone carrying out rail infrastructure improvements.

The underlying principle of the code is that, ‘whenever work takes place, the opportunity is taken to ensure the output of that particular work provides for improved accessibility’.

We are now asking for views on how we can improve the standards for accessible railway stations as set out in the code of practice.

We can provide a version of the response form in an alternative format on request.
