This consultation invites comments from users on the cost saving measures being proposed for the 2011 to 2012 English housing survey and aims to ensure that the survey will continue to meet users’ priority needs.

The consultation will run for 5 weeks from Friday 13 August 2010 and covers:

  • options for reducing the data content
  • savings within the fieldwork and training operations
  • options for reducing the sample size
