Consultation description

We want your views on our initial thinking for the Environmental Land Management (ELM) scheme. We are committed to co-designing the ELM scheme, to create something that allows business to thrive and provides environmental improvements.

To help us accomplish this, on 25 February 2020 we launched the ELM policy discussion. This was then paused on 8 April 2020 while the country dealt with the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and due to concerns that stakeholders would not have capacity to engage. We are now re-launching the policy discussion and inviting further feedback.

Before the coronavirus outbreak we were also planning to hold a number of regional events to discuss our proposals with you and to get your views. These were then replaced by webinars before the policy discussion was paused entirely. We are now planning further webinar events as part of the relaunch and details of these can be found via the link to the consultation.
