Consultation description

We want to know if the draft Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 are accurate. We are legally obliged to consult and want to be sure that no errors have occurred as part of the drafting process. These regulations will reflect the up-to-date legal position, bringing together all the amendments to the 2010 regulations. We are aiming to bring them into force on 1 January 2017.

As there is no change in policy, we are not asking for views on policy issues, or on the overall structure of the draft regulations.
