Consultation description

The department is consulting on behalf of the independent Advisory Committee on Resource Allocation (ACRA) on funding for 0 to 5 children’s services for financial year 2016 to 2017.

There will be a single grant to local authorities in 2016 to 2017, funding both 0 to 5 children’s services and the public health functions which local authorities became responsible for commissioning from April 2013.

ACRA makes independent recommendations on the distribution of resources.
