Consultation description

The UK Government has introduced a set of amendments to the High Speed Rail (Crewe – Manchester) Bill, known as Additional Provision 1 (AP1).

Alongside it, an Additional Provision 1 Environmental Statement (AP1 ES) has been produced, which reports on the likely significant environmental effects of the proposed amendments.

In addition, a Supplementary Environmental Statement (SES1) has been produced, reporting the likely significant environmental effects of changes within the existing limits and powers of the Bill
