Original call for evidence
Call for evidence description
Defra wants to know what you think about possible reforms to food labelling for animal welfare. The aim is to give Defra an understanding of how this might impact business, farmers, and consumers.
Defra wants to hear your views on which welfare standards could form the basis of a possible food label for animal welfare, and what the label might look like. Defra is also looking for information on the potential scope, regulation, and enforcement of such a labelling scheme.

Cais am dystiolaeth ar labelu ar gyfer lles anifeiliaid
8 Medi 2021 – 1 Rhagfyr 2021 (12 wythnos)
Rydym eisiau gwybod beth yw eich barn am ddiwygiadau posibl i labelu bwyd ar gyfer lles anifeiliaid. Rydym yn arbennig o awyddus i ddeall yr effeithiau posibl ar fusnesau, ffermwyr a defnyddwyr. Rydym eisiau clywed eich barn am sut y dylai label o’r fath edrych a pha safonau lles ddylai fod yn sail iddo. Rydym hefyd yn chwilio am wybodaeth am hyd a lled cynllun labelu o’r fath, ei reoleiddio a’i orfodi.
