We received 17 responses to the consultation, many of which were highly detailed.

Responses received were from a diverse stakeholder group, including fishing organisations, non-government environmental organisations, advisory groups, executive non-departmental public bodies, the energy industry and individuals.

We will use the feedback to inform measures that the UK will use to support progress towards Good Environmental Status (GES).

This consultation sets out proposals for updating the UK marine strategy part three (2015). It shows the programme of measures the UK intends to use to achieve or maintain Good Environmental Status (GES) for UK seas.

We want to know what you think about this programme of measures. The measures will be used to help the UK achieve or maintain GES for UK seas.
