The ONS is seeking users’ comments relating to the future priorities set out in this medium-term work plan in terms of its National Accounts (NA) and Balance of Payments (BoP) outputs and developments.

Consultation description

The National Accounts work plan provides users with a condensed summary of how ONS will further develop its NA and BoP statistics over the next two to three years, reflecting on progress made since the full consultation in 2013, the recommendations of the National Statistics Quality Review and other emerging priorities. Information on planned Changes to UK National Accounts and the Balance of Payments are available to view on the ONS website.

   In response to a request to extend the deadline of the consultation on the National Accounts Work Plan, the ONS is happy to accommodate and will therefore be extending the deadline to 25 September 2015. The ONS website has been updated to reflect this.
