We received 20 responses to this consultation. These responses have informed upcoming amendments to the types and sizes of nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIPs) relevant to water resources within the Planning Act 2008.

Later in 2018 we will also hold a formal consultation on the draft National Policy Statement for Water Resources Infrastructure.

We want your views on our proposals for the types and sizes of infrastructure which should be considered as ‘nationally significant’ infrastructure projects. These will be defined in the Planning Act 2008.

This consultation supports the development of the National Policy Statement for Water Resources.
