Summary

We are seeking representations on whether these codes of practice are appropriate, practical and proportionate to the objectives sought.

This consultation concerns:

• a new code of practice relating to video recording of interviews of people detained under the National Security Act
• changes to the code of practice for officers who will exercise powers under Schedule 3 to the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security Act 2019
