This strategy outlines our current approach to socio-economics and includes a consolidated view of various improvements and amendments that have been made over the last few years.

Consultation description

NDA has a statutory obligation to consider the impacts that our decommissioning work has on the communities around its sites.  We satisfy this obligation through our social impact and communities work delivered in the areas surrounding each of those sites.  We produced an interim strategy for this work in 2020 setting out our priorities, aims and objectives. We are now updating this strategy with the latest information and further input from local stakeholders. 

We are keen to receive views and input on the content of the strategy from interested parties and stakeholders during this period.  A final version of the strategy will be published in March 2024 following consideration of the consultation responses.
