Everyone who responded to the consultation agreed that the draft amendment to the Occupational Pension Schemes (Charges and Governance) Regulations 2015 met the policy intent.

The amending regulations were laid before Parliament on 25 March 2015. They come into force on 6 April 2015.

Consultation description

We are seeking views on whether a proposed change to regulations meets our stated policy intent. The change relates to the treatment of Additional Voluntary Contributions under the charge cap that will apply to the default arrangements of pension schemes used for automatic enrolment. The consultation document explains why we need to make this change.
