Consultation description

We want to know what you think about proposals to amend the Environmental Permitting Regulations. The proposed change makes it clear that oil exploration is not subject to the regulations, as there are other effective existing controls.

We will make these changes by amending the existing regulations.

This consultation is likely to be mainly of interest to the energy sector and their regulators.
