Response to the consultation on possible changes to the Upper Tribunal Rules 2008 and the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) Rules 2010 in connection with CE-Filing.

This consultation concerned a ‘mandation’ proposal in relation to CE-Filing that has been made to the TPC by a Working Group of administrative staff within HM Courts and Tribunals Service and Judges from each of the four Upper Tribunal Chambers. The TPC sought the views of stakeholders as to whether CE-Filing should be made mandatory for certain parties in the Upper Tribunal and, if there is to be ‘mandation’, how this should be achieved.
