The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has accepted undertakings confirming that Gardner Aerospace, a Chinese owned aerospace firm, no longer intends to acquire Impcross Limited, a UK based engineering company.

The Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy is minded to accept legally binding undertakings offered in the now abandoned acquisition of Impcross Limited, a UK based engineering company, by Gardner Aerospace Holdings Limited, a Chinese owned aerospace firm.
He is minded to accept undertakings offered by Gardner Aerospace confirming that the transaction has been abandoned. No decision will be taken until the consultation has concluded and the representations have been carefully considered.
The undertakings are published in draft for consultation in accordance with the process set out in the Enterprise Act 2002. The Secretary of State will consider any representations made before making a decision about whether to accept the undertakings.
