Consultation description

DCMS aims to continuously improve our statistical outputs and ensure they continue to meet user needs. We are also reviewing our outputs to ensure we make the most effective use of resources available. By streamlining our publications, we hope to free up resource to develop our key outputs, including the Taking Part Survey, DCMS Sector Economic Estimates and the Community Life Survey, and to meet the growing demand for analysis to inform policy decisions on the many established and emerging priority areas within DCMS’s remit. These proposals are set out in our statistical work plan, published on 4th July 2017.

We would value feedback on your use and views on these existing releases and plans for the future. Users are welcome to respond only to those questions they consider relevant to them.

Feedback and responses should be sent to DCMS via email at evidence@culture.gov.uk by 7 August 2017.
