Detail of outcome

The proposal on which we consulted was implemented by the Town and Country Planning (Modification and Discharge of Planning Obligations) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2013. This was made on 28 January 2013 and came into force on 28 February 2013. The regulations were complemented by measures in the Growth and Infrastructure Act 2013.

The outcome of the consultation and the action taken by the government in response are set out in the explanatory document that accompanied the regulations.
