Consultation description

We want to know what you think about our proposals for implementing retail exits reform in England. This consultation sets out the policy issues arising from retail exits reform and our proposed approach for implementation through regulations.

The regulations will allow water companies to exit the non-household retail market with the consent of the Secretary of State. The Water Act 2014 enables the Secretary of State to introduce these regulations.
