Consultation description

The Office of Rail and Road’s (ORR) has reviewed Network Rail’s possessions and performance regimes. The Schedules 4 and 8 regimes compensate train operators and provide financial incentives arising from planned and unplanned service disruption.

ORR sought feedback on its preferred options for the regimes, putting forward a small number of proportionate changes.

On 20 October 2022, the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) published the conclusions on its review of the frameworks for Schedules 4 and 8 in control period 7 (CP7).
