Consultation description

We’re seeking views on our proposals to continue to improve how the funding system supports small schools in rural areas through further changes to the national funding formula’s sparsity factor from 2022 to 2023.

The schools national funding formula (NFF) is the way the government decides how much core funding to allocate for mainstream state-funded schools in England.
