Summary

We are seeking comments on the draft statutory guidance for supporting pupils at school with medical conditions in England.

This consultation ran from
3pm on 3 February 2014 to 5pm on 14 March 2014

Consultation description

In September 2014, a new duty will come into force on governing bodies to make arrangements to support pupils at school with medical conditions.

We are seeking views on the draft statutory guidance which has been developed to help governing bodies to in fulfil their statutory responsibilities in respect of this new duty.

We are also interested in hearing the views of others involved in supporting pupils at school with medical conditions who may need to follow the new guidance when carrying out their responsibilities.
