Taxi and private hire vehicle licensing: protecting users
Detail of outcome
A public consultation ran between 12 February and 22 April 2019. It invited respondents to submit their views on the measures proposed in the draft Statutory Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Standards.
In response to this consultation, we have:
- made amendments, where deemed appropriate, to the Statutory Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle Standards
- restructured the Standards document to make it clearer to licensing authorities
- finalised the impact assessment
