Call for evidence description

The Teachers’ Professional Development Expert Group is developing a standard for teachers’ professional development.

We’d like to hear about what makes for effective professional development. We’re particularly interested in finding out about:

• the types of professional development that work best
• the culture and environment in schools that best support it

We’d especially like to hear from:

• individual teachers
• headteachers
• providers of professional development
