This document summarises the outcome of the consultation. The government would like to thank all respondents for their contributions.

Respondents welcomed the removal of ‘film’ from Section 72. The government intends to introduce legislative changes to effect this at the earliest opportunity.

The government consulted on proposed changes to Section 72 in 2015.

In light of the responses received, this is a further consultation and technical review on the draft regulations for introducing the changes.
