The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) consulted on changes to guidance on its procedure in determining telecoms price control references.

Consultation description

The updated guidance takes into account changes to the Communications Act 2003 made by the Digital Economy Act 2017.

The draft guidance also incorporates the text of CMA5: Cost recovery in telecoms price control references: Guidance on the CMA’s approach, with some minor amendments.

Following consultation, the revised guidance will replace CC13: Price control appeals under section 193 of the Communications Act 2003: Competition Commission Guidelines and CMA5.
