Consultation description

The department has been working on a major overhaul of the regulatory framework for the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) to reduce sign clutter and cost.

We are asking traffic sign professionals, local authorities, and the traffic sign industry to help us conduct a technical review of the draft. This review is not about the policy that underpins the regulations. It is about ensuring that TSRGD as drafted delivers what it is intended to.
