We received over 100 responses to this consultation.

The charging guidance to Ofwat was laid in Parliament for consideration on 9 November 2015 for a period of 40 days. As there were no objections, the guidance has been formally published.

We want to know what you think about our guidance to Ofwat (The Water Services Regulation Authority). The charging guidance will make sure that Ofwat’s charging rules will achieve the government’s policy aims.

The Water Act 2014 allows Ofwat to publish new charging rules for the water industry.
