Consultation description
Welsh Language Scheme consultation
In order to respect of the language choices of our service users, the Competition and Markets Authority has adopted the principle that in the conduct of public business in Wales, it will treat the English and Welsh languages on a basis of equality. The scheme sets out how we’ll give effect to that principle when providing services to the public.
The voluntary scheme has been prepared in accordance with guidance from the Welsh Language Commissioner under the Welsh Language Act 1993, and it’s hoped it will be formally approved by the Welsh Language Commissioner following the consultation process.

Ymgynghoriad ar Gynllun Iaith Gymraeg
Er mwyn bod dewis iaith ein defnyddwyr yn cael ei barchu, mae y Competition and Markets Authority wedi mabwysiadu’r egwyddor o drin y Saesneg a’r Gymraeg ar sail ei bod yn gyfartal wrth gynnal busnes cyhoeddus yng Nghymru. Drwy’r cynllun yma dengys sut byddwn yn gweithredu’r egwyddor honno wrth ddarparu gwasanaeth i’r cyhoedd.
Paratowyd y cynllun gwirfoddol yma trwy ddilyn cyngor Comisiynydd y Gymraeg yn ôl Deddf yr Iaith Gymraeg 1993. Yn dilyn yr ymgynghoriad gobeithiwn dderbyn cymeradwyaeth gan Gomisiynydd y Gymraeg.
