The Business Innovation Forum provides advice on implementation of the UK Innovation Strategy and innovation policy.

Purpose

The Business Innovation Forum (BIF) was announced in the UK Innovation Strategy: building the future by creating it to support the strategy’s implementation and help shape innovation policy.

The BIF will galvanise action from the business community through effective communications, drive implementation of the Innovation Strategy where appropriate and hold government to account to ensure that policies are embedded in a way that is most impactful for business, and identify where new policy may support innovation objectives as set out in the strategy.

Membership

Members include representatives from UK R&D intensive businesses and organisations with strong ties to innovation and business, and innovation experts.
