Children’s social care national practice group

The group has been established to help the government set national direction for practice in local authority children’s social care.

The children’s social care national practice group brings together experts in practice, evidence, lived experience and multi-agency working to share advice, expertise and practice leadership.

The group supported the development of the children’s social care national framework, which was issued in December 2023 as new statutory guidance.
